PRESS RELEASE
COWBOY CADILLAC TRUCKS HOMEPAGE
Cowboy Cadillac began operations in August of 1998. We researched the market and discovered that the R.V. tow vehicle truck market was a growing market.Major manufacturing companies (including Freightliner, International, Peterbilt, GMC, Kenworth, and Ford Motor Co.) had launched a line of R.V. trucks.
We saw the opportunity to capitalize on this emerging market using the internet. The internet allowed us to create a brochure which was available to millions of customers 24 hours a day.It also allows the company to compete with a lower overhead. We did not have to build a shop, hire employees, or purchase trucks. Our initial inventory derived from dealers who had purchased R.V. style tow vehicles, which saves the consumer thousands of dollars on each purchase.
In January of 2000, we launched the internet site www.cowboycadillac.com. The websites traffic and vendors continue to grow due to our innovative approach at marketing. In late November of 2000, we arranged for the manufacturer and distribution of R.V. style trucks through a west coast based dealer.
We created a website for the consumer to arrange R.V. financing. This program establishes 15-20 year terms on R.V. trucks, trailers, and motorhomes. Our approach allows the consumer to get pre-approved for a loan and act as a cash buyer. Being pre-approved means that a consumer can shop at every dealer and purchase the truck that best suits their needs. Getting pre-approved for a loan enables the buyer to settle on an interest rate without the costly dealer participation.
Our goal at Cowboy Cadillac Trucks:
Our goal is to educate the consumer. We believe that a well informed buyer will make an educated purchase and tell R.V. owners of the safety and financial benefits of medium duty truck and motorhome operations.
What R.V. buyers should know:
Retail truck conversion companies and R.V. dealerships boost a 30% profit ratio. This means that a consumers new vehicle will depreciate up to 30% the day of purchase!
Due to our website and marketing strategies, we operate on less than a 10% profit ratio. That ratio includes the vendors who complete the conversions. This strategy has lowered the cost of each unit to the consumer. We arrange financing for any consumer if you purchase a truck from Cowboy Cadillac or another dealer.
The future of Cowboy Cadillac:
The internet has recently taken a beating in the stock market and in consumer confidence. If used correctly, any company can capitalize in this growing media. We are currently working with several traditional R.V. dealers and manufacturers to market their products. We plan to capitalize by combining our resources using joint advertising budgets. Our goal is to pass the savings onto the consumer.
